Remove backgrounds from a batch of up to 20 photos

BgClear's main tool accepts multiple photos without signup or credits. Select up to 20 images and it processes them one by one in your browser. Batch selection reduces repeated setup; it does not make 20 images take the same time as one.

Prepare a manageable batch

Group photos that need the same output background and format. Keep your originals and use recognizable filenames. Prefer sharp portraits or opaque products with visible contrast against the backdrop.

Start with one representative photo, particularly on a phone or older computer. If it processes reliably, try a small batch before selecting 20. Large files and High Quality Mode need more memory; the file-count limit is not a performance guarantee.

Process, review and download

  1. Open the main tool and choose or drag in up to 20 JPG, PNG or WebP files.
  2. Wait for model loading and sequential processing. Keep the tab open. An initial download is separate from time spent processing each photo.
  3. Review every output before using it. Check product details, gaps, hair, halos and missing subject areas. A uniform backdrop does not guarantee identical segmentation quality.
  4. For a transparent set, select Transparent and PNG. For a white-background set, select White and your desired format.
  5. Download each result or choose Download All. This requests separate files, not a ZIP archive. If your browser blocks multiple downloads, use the individual download buttons.
  6. Save successful results before starting another batch. Re-shoot or manually edit failed photos separately.

The background and format controls apply across the displayed results. Use separate batches when photos require different output settings.

Measure your own processing time

Record the number and dimensions of the photos, browser, device and selected mode. Measure first-use loading, processing and review time separately. Repeat on the same images after loading to understand the difference.

No universal seconds-per-photo figure is claimed here. Larger batches still perform more work, and browser memory or background-tab behaviour can affect completion.
