BgClear is designed for photo cutouts without a BgClear account or credit purchase. Start with a clear portrait or opaque product, inspect the result and choose the background and format you need.
For a transparent cutout, choose Transparent in Background and PNG in Format. The main tool initially selects White, so simply downloading a PNG does not make it transparent.
Model downloads, available memory and browser support affect completion time. Try one photo in standard mode before a large batch. High Quality Mode is optional and can be impractical on some devices.
For official-document photos, check the issuing authority's editing rules first. Background replacement does not guarantee passport, visa or ID acceptance.

Yes. BgClear's browser tool requires no signup or credit purchase and adds no watermark.
Can I remove backgrounds from multiple images at once?
Select up to 20 images. Processing is sequential. Download All requests separate files, not a ZIP; your browser may ask permission for multiple downloads.
What image formats are supported?
JPG, PNG and WebP. Large images need more memory; try a smaller photo if processing fails.
Can I add a white background or change the format?
Yes. Choose White, Black or a custom color in Background and PNG, JPG or WebP in Format. For transparency, explicitly choose Transparent and PNG. JPG cannot retain transparency.
Does it work on mobile?
Compatible mobile browsers can run the tool, but memory, model support and processing speed vary. Start with one photo in standard mode; High Quality Mode may not work on your device.
How accurate is the AI background removal?
Results depend on the photo. Check hair, edges and gaps. Logos, text, illustrations and transparent objects can lose important details; a manual editor or a better original may be necessary.
Does local processing mean no network activity?
No. Photo processing runs locally, but the website loads code, models and other services such as advertising. Read the local-processing explanation and privacy policy.
